You’ve just installed and activated WP Mail SMTP, the most beginner-friendly WordPress SMTP plugin on the market.

There’s so much you can do with WP Mail SMTP to improve the way WordPress sends emails and stops them from going to spam.

But today, I’m going to share the top 3 things to do right now. They’re all quick, easy, and majorly effective. 

1. Configure Your SMTP Settings
By default, WordPress doesn’t have native SMTP settings. You can adjust these in your WP Mail SMTP dashboard with WordPress.

2. Connect Your Mailer
You’ll need a mailer in order to successfully deliver emails. We have a full guide on available mailers to help choose the right choice for you. 

3. Send a Test Email
Before you begin sending emails to users, you’ll want to make sure everything works properly. This is incredibly simple to do within the plugin. 

That’s it!

Once you’ve completed this to-do list, your emails should have no issues with getting delivered to your customer’s inbox.
