The level of stress/crisis that was discussed and talked about in this session was beyond the level and capacity that most of us deal with supporting our clients.

Discussing the different parts of the brain that were affected during the trauma and after.

The fact that it was not relatable to our jobs and the clients we support.

What topics or speakers would you like to see offered in the future?

I believe learning about crisis intervention and stress responses are beneficial and would be useful as a topic, but more on a realistic basis of what our clients might encounter.

The presenter was very knowledgeable but I feel this class would have been better suited for clinicians, therapists, doctors, etc.
