Your new go-to model
GPT-5 is the new default in ChatGPT with unlimited messages, replacing all other models. Just open ChatGPT and type your question—it will handle the rest and adapt its depth of reasoning automatically.

Other models available
For more thorough reasoning, Team users can also select “GPT‑5 thinking” and “GPT‑5 pro” from the model picker. As an admin, you can add optional credits to extend limits for power users, if needed.

If you need to access previous models, you can turn them on in Settings. They’ll be available in the model picker and in custom GPTs for the next 60 days.
