#13452 Reports of spam from the website and making sure Bibiana’s email is off the site in case it is being scraped for spam usage. I advised deactivating that account A firewall might be able to mitigate some of the spam to that account if it’s absolutely necessary to keep it active.
Bibiana is not in the user group for the site.
Removed Bibiana’s email from approx. 19 pages from old conferences. I recommend making registration pages and other past due or non-essential pages private or deleting them altogether once a conference is over.
On Gravity forms: 4 active forms. Many inactive. Akismet is on and so is silent captcha.
3 out of the 4 active forms did not have anti-spam honeypot turned on. I enabled it.
Confirmed Cloudflare is proxying the site and there are some visits from Russia, China etc. Whether that traffic generating spam is unknown but we can geo-block if needed.
The main contact form had basic captcha on it and Bibiana’s email was still in the “send to” field. I created a Google recaptcha v3 account and added the necessary keys to the captcha for this form.
